It takes a Village
Based on the Cusp of Nether edge and Sharrow in Sheffield S7, we offer a friendly space for Parents and Carers to come and Play or take part in one of our many educational and fun classes. Sit back and relax in our onsite cafe with adjoining Sensory room, Perfect for even the tiniest of visitors.
Our Story
Back in 2003 Rattle and Roll music was set up by Anne a local mum who had tried a few music sessions in the area and couldn't help feel the fit just wasn't right. With a background in the theatre and dance, Rattle and Roll Music was born.

Anne started with one session a week in 2003 growing to 200 customers a week in 2018.
Having used shared spaces such as church halls for 15 years, Anne decided she needed to take the plunge and find some premises of her own and finally set down roots.
Now mother to seven children from the ages of 2 -19 years old and can still be found running sessions and parties down at the cafe and Also does the cake baking too.

Rattle & Roll Playcafe opened in April 2019 offering a range of classes for Parent's and Carers with on onsite cafe serving light bites, snacks and delicious cakes.

We want to create a home from home as being a new parent can be scary and daunting and going places for the first time can be a challenge. You will always find a friendly face to welcome you here .
